Technicolor will collaborate with Hewlett-Packard, NVIDIA and several other companies to create a VR work that simulates Mars' immigration life. The audience can experience this work on the Technicolor Experience Centre (TEC).
The project will design a virtual colony on Mars to bring sci-fi movie-like scenes closer to reality through interactive virtual reality technology, allowing users to experience a day in the life of Mars colonizers.
TEC Executive Producer and Logan Brown, MPC Film VR and head of immersive content in the United States, said: "HP Mars Home Planet is an exciting project for Technicolor to partner with Hewlett-Packard and Nvidia, and immersive media will address some of the issues. The greatest challenge facing society is providing opportunities, including planning for the city of the future, helping patients to alleviate their suffering, and connecting family members around the world.HP Mars Home Planet is the perfect opportunity to explore how VR, the evolving media, shapes the future. â€
The members who joined the project included engineers, architects, designers, artists, and students from all over the world.
"We are in the birth phase of this industry, which will bring all our partners together and really help build and expand the industry and make it stronger." HP's Rick Champagne said. "When you have partners from different disciplines, each looking at the issue from a different perspective, you can gain a lot of knowledge from this experience."
