These ultra-cheap mobile phones will attract a large number of 2G users to upgrade to 4G networks, for which the company is likely to provide a subsidy of 975 rupees (about 102 yuan) for each mobile phone. The industry generally believes that ultra-cheap mobile phones plus ultra-cheap tariffs will make Reliance Jio's market share to a new level. As of April this year, Reliance Jio has reached 112.5 million users.
