South Network "12th Five-Year" West-East Electricity Delivery Framework Agreement Signed

The “Twelfth Five-Year” South China Power Grid will reach a scale of 43 million kilowatts. . It is a solemn commitment by the eastern and western regions and the central enterprises to work together to advance the development of the West-East Power Transmission to depth.

Qian Zhimin, deputy director of the National Energy Administration, said at the signing ceremony of the agreement that the country attaches great importance to the transmission of electricity from the west to the east. West-to-East power transmission is one of the landmark projects for the development of the western region. Among the key projects for the large-scale development of the west, the largest volume of projects is from west to east. The implementation of the West-East Power Transmission project helped western provinces convert energy and resource advantages into economic advantages, cultivated the power industry in the western region, drove local economic and social development, reduced the pressure on the environment and transportation, and helped change the economy of the eastern and western regions.
