Dongbei (2499) recently entered the Tsinghua Tongfang supply chain, and will set up LED large-size backlight and energy-saving lighting factory in Beijing. The products will be sampled from Q4 to 2011 Q1.
Dongbei introduced that the new plant is in response to the development of customers in North China and the rapid growth of China's LED application in the large-size backlight and energy-saving lighting market. The first phase of the planned investment amount is 9 million US dollars. The name is tentatively reserved for Dongbei Optoelectronics (Beijing) Co., Ltd. .
At present, the products are being sampled and are wholly-owned by Dongbei. In the future, Tsinghua Tongfang may participate in the capital increase of this plant. In addition to LED TV, lighting will also be the future development focus of this plant.
