AMD Fusion APU is divided into two series. Now available is a low-power version based on Bobcat processor architecture and DX11 GPU graphics core. Up to two processor cores are manufactured using TSMC's 40nm process. AMD claims that the Bobcats is the first new x86 core since 2003 and is designed for low-power portable devices.

AMD Fusion APU has received widespread support from a large number of hardware and software vendors throughout the industry. All of them are currently or soon to release various related products at cost-effective or mainstream prices.
