Peugeot's new generation of electric vehicle technology can be charged for 12 minutes in one minute.

According to the comprehensive foreign news report, the French Peugeot Citroen Group has built a new generation of lithium-ion batteries and chargers, aiming to improve the cruising range of electric vehicles and shorten the charging time.

In the future, PSA Peugeot Citroen will use a new battery pack for plug-in hybrids, which can reach 12 kWh (sedan version) and 13 kWh (SUV version), which is 12 times the capacity of current hybrid car battery packs. The power is 80 kW and 90 kW, respectively, which is 20%-30% higher than competing products.

The above batteries are available in the range of 210-350 volts (sedan version) and 240-400 volts (SUV version). The 3.3 kW on-board charging system is used for charging and can be fully charged within 4.5 hours. Another 6.6 kW fast charging system can be fully charged in 2.5 hours.

In terms of pure electric vehicles, Peugeot Citroen's new charging system takes 8 hours to fully charge, and can provide the required amount of 100 kilometers of cruising range in 90 minutes. The home fast charge system saves time and can charge 80% of electricity in 30 minutes. Converted, charging for one minute, can run 12 kilometers.

PSA Peugeot Citroé¾™n pays more attention to technology research and development after the strategic adjustment, including new energy. It is expected to save 1.5 billion euros in the next five years after improving research and development efficiency.

Flange And Fitting

A flange can also be a plate or ring to form a rim at the end of a pipe when fastened to the pipe. A blind flange is a plate for covering or closing the end of a pipe. A flange joint is a connection of pipes, where the connecting pieces have flanges by which the parts are bolted together.

Although the word flange generally refers to the actual raised rim or lip of a fitting, many flanged plumbing fittings are themselves known as 'flanges':

There are many different flange standards to be found worldwide. To allow easy functionality and interchangeability, these are designed to have standardised dimensions. Common world standards include ASA/ASME (USA), PN/DIN (European), BS10 (British/Australian), and JIS/KS (Japanese/Korean). In the USA, ANSI stopped publishing B16.5 in 1996, and the standard is ASME B16.5
