It is reported that the City of London will retain its famous bridge lighting landscape that is illuminated for this summer's Olympic Games. Initially, the lighting was designed to be temporary, but after a detailed evaluation of the cost, it was decided to continue the display. The six bridges were centered on the Hengeford Bridge, including London Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Millennium Bridge, Black. The clothing monk bridge, the Waterloo Bridge and the Golden Wedding Bridge, each of which is tailored to the lighting plan. Each bridge has a separate lighting sequence design that uses a very accurate and cost-effective control system and uses energy efficient luminaires.
It is reported that lighting solution company Architainment provides a series of technical support for Color Kinetic LEDs. The four pillars at the Arch of the Waterloo Bridge are lit by four Philips Color Reach and two Color Blast LED fixtures; the Golden Wedding Bridge is fitted with Philips' Color Kinetics Color Burst fixtures; and the London Bridge is equipped with 36 Philips Color Kinetics The company's Color Blast 12 Powercore luminaire.
