Crystal Optoelectronics' 2013 Q1 net profit increased by 131% year-on-year

Crystal Optoelectronics (002273) released the first quarterly report of 2013. The company's first quarter 2013 operating income was 123 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.49%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 23.28 million yuan, an increase of 131.59%; basic earnings per share 0.09 yuan.

According to Crystal Optoelectronics, operating income increased by 32.49% compared with the same period of last year, mainly due to the increase in sales of precision optical film components and LED sapphire substrate. The increase in profit was greater than the increase in operating income, mainly in the first quarter of last year. The company's newly established benefits have not yet been reflected and the company's new employees increased their performance in the first quarter of last year.
