印度更换LED灯每年将节省60亿美元

据印度媒体报道，响应印度政府当前的LED灯更换计划，到2018年，印度每年可以节省60亿美元的照明开支。

　　该消息由印度政府电力、煤炭、新能源和可再生能源部长Piyush Goyal在孟买的“哈佛大学美印倡议”(Harvard College US India Initiative)会议中提及。

　　“预计高达7.1亿卢比的传统灯泡改换成LED灯泡后将节省1000亿单位的电能。”该部长如是说。

　　气候组织LED项目已经证明，LED等全球高效节能照明节能和省钱的潜力是前所未有的，尤其是在印度。

　　仅印度的照明领域就占到全国电力总产量的18%，而全球照明仅占到电力消耗的13%。采用大规模LED照明将节约50-70%的能源，帮助印度将其照明占比降到全球照明占比以下，显著减少碳排放量，而无需建设更多的发电厂。

　　此外，LED路灯是节能的细分领域之一。到目前为止，印度已安装3500万盏路灯，能耗为3400兆瓦。据政府估计，升级到LED照明以后，LED路灯耗能将减至1,400兆瓦，下降幅度约为60%。
