Intel confirmed that it will launch Android3.0 Tablet PC

According to foreign media reports, Intel recently confirmed that it will launch tablet computers equipped with Google's Android system. In addition, it revealed that it has now got Android 3.0 system source code.

Intel CEO Paul Otellini said that Intel is currently working with Google, Microsoft and Nokia, and will launch tablet PCs with Android, Windows and MeeGo systems in the future.

In addition, Otellini also said that in the next year, Intel will also launch chips for smart phones. He admitted that Intel has lagged behind its competitors in this regard.

Intel released first-quarter earnings this Wednesday. The company's first-quarter revenue rose 29% to US$3.16 billion. In a statement, Otellini is confident in Intel’s performance this year. He said that Intel’s annual revenue this year is expected to exceed 20%.
