1. Choice of flow meter type

Jinhu electromagnetic flowmeter is divided into two types according to the structure: split type and integrated type. The basic principle of choosing a split type or a one-piece type is to use a split type structure when the flow meter is used under complicated environmental conditions (such as in high temperature fluids, explosive gases, places where there is severe vibration, and places where water may be inundated). . An integrated electromagnetic flowmeter can be used under normal environmental conditions.

2. Caliber and range selection

The diameter of the transmitter is usually chosen to be the same as the piping system. If the lane system is to be designed, the diameter can be selected according to the range of the flow and the flow rate. For electromagnetic flowmeters, the flow rate is preferably 2-4 m/s. In special cases. If there are solid particles in the liquid, the flow rate is ≤3m/s in consideration of the wear. For the fluid with easy wall, the flow rate can be ≤2m/s. After the flow rate is determined, it can be To determine the transmitter diameter. The range of the transmitter can be selected according to two principles: one is that the full scale of the meter is larger than the expected maximum flow value, and the other is that the normal flow address is greater than 50% of the full scale of the meter to ensure a certain measurement accuracy.

3. Select the flow meter according to the purpose

Jinhu electromagnetic flowmeter is divided into submersible, explosion-proof, hygienic, high-pressure and general-type according to the application. The submersible type is generally used for open channel flow measurement; the explosion-proof type is used for potentially explosive gas environment, such as frequent use in coal mine, chemical industry, oil field, etc.; hygienic type is easy to disassemble, wash and disinfect, and can be quickly installed, suitable for Food and pharmaceutical departments; high-pressure type for the measurement and control of liquid flow such as drilling circulating mud, cementing cement slurry, hydrochloric acid in fracturing and acidizing process, high-pressure water injection in oil production process; general type is used for general purposes other than the above.

4. Selection of lining, electrode and grounding ring material (1) Selection of lining material: In the selection of Jinhu electromagnetic flowmeter, for some media such as circulating water, chilled water, potassium sulfite, low temperature and low concentration of potassium hydroxide For lye, etc., the measuring tube needs to be 316 stainless steel, no need to add lining. Conversely, for strong corrosive media, the tube lining must be increased. Commonly used lining materials for measuring tubes are neoprene, fluoroplastic, alumina ceramics, and the like. In the process of use, the lining of different materials should be selected according to the chemical properties of different media. (2) Jinhu electromagnetic flowmeter electrode and grounding ring material: When selecting the electrode material, first consider the corrosion resistance of the electrode to the measuring medium, and secondly consider whether surface effects such as passivation will occur.
