Heavy! 12GB for the upcoming Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti Graphics

[Abstract] The last member of the Pascal family, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, is expected to be released this year at the GDC Game Developers Conference. The new version of the graphics card will likely have a 12GB RAM size.

Ten years after Tencent’s launch of the Nvidia Titan X, Nvidia’s Titan X has been around for a while. Nvidia’s last member, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, is expected to be at the GDC’s Game Developers Conference this year. Released, GTX 1080 Ti memory will likely be up to 12GB.

Coincidentally, AMD will also launch its long-awaited Vega graphics card at this GDC 2017 conference. The GeForce GTX 1080 will use the same GP102 chip as the Titan X, but the memory is based on the 10GB GDDR5X specification. It is expected that the public version will not perform as well as the Titan X, and the non-public version may actually be more powerful than the latter.

In terms of price, 1080 Ti is more affordable than TITAN X and offers a non-public version. The final range is expected to be between 750 and 900 US dollars (BNM estimated at 6,500 to 7,500 yuan). Both AMD and Nvidia will release their own competitive products. Now that the time to market for Nvidia's GTX 1080Ti cards has been exposed, the long-awaited flagship card will be available at the end of March after it is released at the beginning of the month.

The best graphics requirement for Nevada’s real-time strategy game Halo War 2 released on February 21 is obviously GTX 1080 Ti. This means that, on February 28, Nvidia will be launching at the press conference in San Francisco. It is likely that the product will be described in terms of Nvidia as saying that the GTX 1080 Ti will be "an excellent gaming hardware."
